Two of our PhD candidates, Chris Noble-Molnar and Jiawen Tian have been awarded Summer Research Grants to supplement their research over the summer months. These awards will allow Chris to expand his studies of Type III CRISPR-Cas adaptation, and provide extra resources for Jiawen to continue her hunt for elusive anti-CRISPR proteins in Thermococcales.
